About Me

Hi. I’m not great at putting things into words — which is ironic for someone with a blog — but here we are.

I’m a 37-year-old dog (and cat) mom, who survives on color-coding, fresh mountain air, and making things for my planner. If there’s a list to make, a bird to photograph, or a trail to rank, I *may* have already done it. Or at least I’ve made plans about completing it.

Most weekends you’ll find me biking (or hiking) the Adirondacks with my dog, and following up the outdoor time performing Adirondack Folk music with my husband, Josh.

This blog is where all of it lives — the lists, the trails, the birds, the color coding, the music, the marriage, and the beautifully busy life in between.

Thanks for being here.

This is Darby and I on one of our last hikes together. Darby got very sick and sadly passed over the rainbow bridge in October 2025. We are so thankful to all the friends and family who donated to her Go-Fund-Me that allowed us to continue the diagnosis process until there was nothing else that could be done.
